We accept many insurance plans and payment options. See below to check your eligibility.
United Healthcare/GEHA, Aetna & Meritain Plans
We currently accept United Healthcare/GEHA, Aetna and Meritain Plans for DC, Virginia and Maryland residents. Click here if you have Aetna or Meritain and live in Maryland or Virginia. Click here for all United Healthcare/GEHA plans (regardless of state) or if you have Aetna or Meritain and live in DC.
Cigna Plans
We partner with Wildflower Health to cover lactation care through Cigna plans. Click here if you have a Cigna insurance plan. After submitting your insurance information, someone will be in touch to set up your lactation consult.
Other Accepted Plans
Click here to check your eligibility for insurance-covered care through The Lactation Network if you have the following insurance plans: First Health, First Choice Health, Imagine Health, Sutter Health, VA OptumEast, Velocity or a plan that includes MultiPlan or PNOA on your insurance card. After submitting your information, someone will be in touch to set up your lactation consult.
Self-Pay/Out of Pocket
If you have CareFirst/Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans or any others not mentioned above, we offer the option to pay out of pocket for a home or telehealth consult. After the consult, we give you a superbill to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement. A sliding scale is offered as well as needed. Click here for this option.
